Introduction
MessageEagle is a messaging platform for SMS, Voice, and Verify (OTP). One set of credentials and one base URL give you transactional and broadcast messaging, voice calls and IVR, and one-time-password delivery and verification across every major carrier.

How the API is shaped
Every business endpoint lives under one base path:
https://api.messageeagle.com/api/v1/app1/platformRequests and responses are JSON. Two headers authenticate every call — see Authentication.
| Surface | What it does | Start here |
|---|---|---|
| SMS | Transactional, broadcast, and EagleEye messages | SMS Messaging |
| Voice | OTP calls, broadcasts, agent dialing, IVR | Voice |
| Verify | Send and check one-time passwords | Verify / OTP |
| Sender Names | Register and approve sender IDs | Sender Names |
Design principles
- Per-item results. Bulk send endpoints return a status for each recipient. One bad number never fails the whole batch — inspect
send_messages[].reportper item. - Idempotency via
transaction_uuid. Attach a UUIDv7 to each message to correlate delivery-report webhooks and later tracking calls. - Templating built in. Message bodies support
{{first_name}}-style placeholders resolved from per-recipient fields andmeta_data.
What you'll need
- An API key (
API-Key) and organization id (X-TenantID). - At least one approved sender name — see Sender Names.
- A recipient in E.164 format, e.g.
+66886578553.
